Orders

Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we email your confirmation. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout and on our delivery & returns page. Occasionally a coffee sells out between roasts — if we can't fulfil something, we'll refund it in full.

Subscriptions (Counter Club)

• Your subscription renews automatically at the frequency you chose (every 2 or 4 weeks) until you cancel.
• You can skip a delivery, pause, change your box or cancel anytime from your account. Changes take effect from your next billing date; a box that's already been charged and roasted will still be sent.
• Your member discount is set when you join and applies to every delivery for as long as your subscription stays active.
• Founding members are the first 100 people to join the Counter Club. They get 10% off every delivery, and get it again if they cancel and later rejoin. Members who join once the founding spots are gone get the rate shown when they build their box, which may be no discount.
• Your price per delivery, including delivery, is set when you join. It only changes if you change what's in your box — a new coffee, size or number of bags — and we'll show you the new price before you save.
• New members may be offered a higher introductory discount on their first deliveries, as shown when they join. It's for first-time members only, and your member discount applies once it ends.

Counter Points, referrals & perks

Counter Points, landmark rewards, referral credit and birthday perks are a goodwill loyalty scheme, not money. Points have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and we may adjust the scheme (or correct obvious errors and abuse) — we'll always honour landmarks you've already reached. Referral credit is applied when your friend's first Counter Club box is paid and is used against future subscription payments. One-off shop orders don't earn referral credit. The scheme is just for the coffee: brewing equipment earns no points, and points rewards and credit can't be used against equipment.

Cancellations & returns

Coffee is roasted to order and perishable, so it's exempt from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Equipment can be returned within 14 days. Full detail — including what to do if something arrives damaged — is on the delivery & returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Accounts

When you join the Counter Club we set up an account for you with the email you pay with. You sign in with a one-time link we email to that address, or with a password if you've chosen one. Keep access to that inbox and any password safe — you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or to abuse the loyalty scheme.

The legal frame

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales. If any clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand. Last updated: September 2026.
